Strawberry-Mint Sangria

Step 1
In a cocktail shaker or large measuring cup, using a muddler, mash half of strawberries and half of mint into a chunky paste. Add simple syrup and continue to muddle until strawberries are completely broken down.
Step 2
Fill a pitcher with ice, then strain strawberry syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into pitcher. Add wine, soda water, St. Germain, and lemon juice and stir to combine.
Step 3
Stir in lemon slices and remaining 8 ounces strawberries and 1/2 cup mint.

No matter what kind of gathering you’re hosting, every party gets better with a pitcher of sangria. It’s light, easy to assemble, and even easier to drink, which makes it a perfect beverage to serve in the warmer months. You can make sangria with virtually every type of wine and any kind of fruit. This version highlights some of the best spring and summer produce—namely, strawberries.
